Social support may reduce diabetes distress

Diabetes Social Support

A recent study in the Journal of the American Osteopathic Association links greater perceived social support to decreased levels of diabetes-related distress in adults with type 2 diabetes. Perceived family support is associated with lower scores on the Problem Areas in Diabetes scale.
